San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus Embarks on Lavender Pen Tour
The San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC), whose mission is to create extraordinary musical experiences that inspire community, activism and compassion, will kick off its 40th season by embarking on the Lavender Pen Tour from October 7-15, 2017. The tour will visit various cities and small towns in Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, while raising much-needed funds for local LGBTQ+ nonprofit organizations.
SFGMC Welcomes Mitch Galli as new Educational Outreach and Music Services Manager

The Gay Kitchen Sink features the 250 men of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus in what promises to be a spectacular, over-the-top Pride Month celebration as only SFGMC can do. Being held on March 12, 2017, this year’s star-studded event will honor two-time Emmy and Grammy award-winning comedian Kathy Griffin with the Vanguard Award for her achievements in LGBTQ equality and for using her voice as an agent of change in the movement.
