Welcome to the second season of programming at The Pansy L. Chan and Terrence D. Chan National Queer Arts Center. Located at 170 Valencia Street, this intimate performance space invites everyone to get closer to the queer artists and community that make the San Francisco arts scene so special. Below, you will find the 9 events scheduled for the first part of the season from January to March.

ANYTHING GOES: A BROADWAY SING-ALONG

MARCH 14 @ 7:30PM

This family-friendly sing-along brings the energy of the Broadway stage to The Chan National Queer Arts Center as Artistic Director Jacob Stensberg leads YOU in some of your favorite musical numbers.

Q-LAB: NIKOLA PRINTZ - MARCH MADNESS

MARCH 21 & 22 @ 7:30PM

Artistically fluid opera star Nikola Printz, the singing acrobatic sensation brings together a fabulous cast of characters for a grand, campy evening of madness in every sense of the word.

The acclaimed jazz vocalist, Emmy Winner, and author of the infamous U-Haul joke takes aim at WTF is happening in the world today, bringing her Sicilian rage, sharp tongue, and musical prowess to The Chan National Queer Arts Center.

Curator Furio Rinaldi offers an in-depth, multimedia presentation about the artist’s distinctive style and gender-defying life journey.

Q-LAB: DAVÓNE TINES - QUEERING THE MASS

JAN 31 & FEB 1, 2025 @ 7:30PM

Pioneering bass-baritone and creator Davóne Tines queers the catholic mass by transforming it into a non-denominational structure for dealing with human problems.

LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

Queer the new year with celebrity chef and TV personality Melissa King, the Top Chef: All-Stars winner and fan favorite, as she reimagines the Lunar New Year with a mouthwatering feast.

CHEYENNE JACKSON - SIGNS OF LIFE

FEB 14 @ 6:00 & 8:30pm

In his cabaret, Signs of Life, Cheyenne invites audiences on a deeply personal and uproariously funny exploration of the universe’s subtle cues.

THE FORGETTERS: AN EVOLVING STORY

Author Greg Sarris, who serves as Chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, dives into his novel The Forgetters—a beautiful story cycle about remembering our shared histories and repairing the world.

There is no venue parking. Street/metered parking may be limited in the area.

The closest SFMTA public parking garage is
16th & Hoff Garage (4-5 blocks, 10-15 minute walk). Alternatively, patrons may choose to park in a privately owned and operated parking lot or garage in the area. Please exhibit caution when securing parking before or on event day.
