Today, San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (SFGMC) and Dr. Timothy Seelig, Artistic Director, announced the final amount for its 2015 holiday fundraiser, benefiting the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy (HMCRA), a local K-5 public school in the Castro neighborhood. Dr. Seelig, with members of SFGMC, presented a check to HMCRA Principal Ron Machado and members of the Parent Faculty Club in the amount of $30,378.32.

Today, San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (SFGMC) and Dr. Timothy Seelig, Artistic Director, announced a partnership with the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy to help raise funds for the Academy at SFGMC’s upcoming holiday concerts. The Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy empowers student learning by teaching awareness, acceptance and non-violence, celebrates diversity, and achieves academic excellence while also fostering strong family-school-community connections.
San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus presents “HoliGays Are Here” This December
Today, San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (SFGMC) and Dr. Timothy Seelig, Artistic Director, announced the holiday performances for Season 38: Expect The Unexpected, featuring three performances of HoliGays Are Here, running December 11-12 at the Nourse Theater(275 Hayes St, San Francisco). Performances are Friday, December 11 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, December 12 at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $25-65 and are available now on www.SFGMC.org or by calling City Box Office at (415) 392-4400.

The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (SFGMC) kicks off Season 38: Expect the Unexpected with its fabulous annual fundraising gala, Crescendo Turns 10! This year marks the tenth iteration of SFGMC’s signature fundraiser, and will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 12 – 3 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco (600 Stockton St, San Francisco).
